Other People's Promises

Sometimes a resolution is too much for one person to handle. What follows is an observer (me) following the resolution of an anonymous friend (Dort Munder) as he resolves to run a 5K (3.1 mile) race. After three decades of not running. Join us in cheering him to success.

One of These Days, You'll No Longer Be Able to Do This . . .

Today's not the day.

Resolution (Running) Tip: make yourself an inspirational sign and hang it above your running shoes. Hokey, yes, but sometimes it helps.

About Me

My photo
Jackson Connor
I'm married and have four kids. I have a Ph.D. and a series of scars from steel mills, a machine shop, an oil refinery, a year with a mason, some other jobs, some other bad decisions, some dear friends, and some basketball moves I never perfected. Okay, so the Ph.D. isn't complete until I learn a second language, but the rest of it is accurate. 90% of the time, when you look at me and you think I'm getting ready to bite somebody, it would be safe to guess that I'd rather be reading or writing.
